Presidential candidate Michael Smith is on the front page of the Gazette-Times this Sunday. It's a decent interview by Bennett Hall and worth a read.

I am a single mom, mid-30s, currently working for one of the largest (and best!) employers in Corvallis. I'm unabashedly liberal, but not a straight-ticket voter. I believe we have a responsibility to our fellow Earthlings, but I do eat some of them. I am not religious at all, not even new-agey spiritual.
I moved to Corvallis in 1990 after driving through town once and thinking WOW. What a great place to live. I've lived here for my entire adult life and I love everything about it. This site is intended to be a place to discuss local issues of interest to ME, both good and bad.

Thanks for the mention, but I must remind your readers (since you are too modest to mention it) that you were the first to publish an interview on the campaign. Bennett did a nice job, but not nearly as issues-focused as your questions.
