Jack Burright withdraws from sheriff race.

He even apologized for his "poor judgment."

I think this was inevitable and am glad it happened several months before the election.

  • Gloat? Happy? Naah, not really. I feel sorry for the guy, because I really don't think he was acting maliciously. But pity doesn't earn you a sheriff post, either.

There just wasn't much else to say!

  • Thought witch hunts were in the past, guess not. Too bad the public isn't getting the whole truth, only half truths that make Jack look bad. I still won't vote for Diana Simpson.

  • Thought witch hunts were a thing of the past but I guess not. Unfortunately the citizens of Benton County are not getting the full truth and a lot of what's been written has been twisted to look as bad as possible. I'll write in my ex-husbands name before I'll vote for Diana Simpson.
